Associate Engineer at AMGEN, a Major Genetic Engineering Pharmaceutical Company

August 1986 to August 1989

Biotechnology clinical manufacturing and pilot plant process development.  Duties includes inside utilities management, specification and supervision of maintenance on cell culture, fermentation and purification equipment, and regulatory affairs building manager.  Products included human and animal factors and therapeutics, specially chemicals and laboratory diagnostics.  Also served as temporary chair of employee and facility safety and bio-hazard committee.

June 1985 to June 1986

Projects included research into medium to large-scale fermentation of waste products, methods development for microbiological assays, chemical separations and analytical instrumentation.  Name author on various publications.
